Chancellorofdesign.com is a global network of Artist's and Designer's seeking to expand their professional network's in the Creative World.

When we launched Chancellor of Design in the fall of 2009, it was originally meant for art students to network with one another, share ideas, dish out photoshop tricks, give & receive creative advice, and enter their work into Design Contests (...the winner of each contest would be named the "Chancellor of Design"... hence the name of our site). Soon, we saw the benefits that the Professional Creative Community as a whole could gain from a resource like this, where you can interact with other Artist's on a social level (the way you can interact on facebook), AND network with other Artist's on professional level (the way you can network on LinkedIn).

So, we decided to take a holistic approach to the problem - create a one-stop-shop for Creatives (specifically for Artists, but all art-lovers are welcome). As professional Graphic Designers ourselves, we began adding features that we had always wanted centrally located on one site - Our list of features to-date include: A Design Community, Portfolio Gallery, Design Contests, Job/Internship Board, Links Page, Blogging, Creative Advice Forums, Instant Messaging, Online Store (coming soon!), and a Work Critiquing/Comments area.

Our goal is for this site to become a global hub for Artist's and Designer's. Everything you need to know about advancing your career, you will be able to find here.
